Brief
Develop an idea that not only raises awareness of skin cancer,
specifically melanoma, in people of colour around the globe,
but also helps to drive diagnosis to allow people to receive the
treatments they need.
Solution
Emojis often convey different meanings, while certain fruits and
vegetables are linked to intimate body parts. Hidden areas of
the body are commonly overlooked in skin cancer awareness
because they are covered and receive less sunlight. This poses
challenges for early detection, especially among people of
colour, whose moles may be harder to see against their skin
tone, delaying diagnosis until later stages.
